Inspired by Gabrielle Aplin, Bon Iver and Maggie Rogers, Alexander Mountain is a singer/songwriter from Surrey, who has been writing since adolescence about societal pressure, life and mental health. Aided by his rich timbre and emotive vocals, he narrates the stories he has experienced first-hand through his songwriting. 

Since releasing his debut single Blizzard in 2019, each release has seen Alexander grow from strength to strength - artistically and commercially. With recognition and acclaim from notable music publications, support from BBC Introducing, and gigs at various venues across the UK and the seven seas, Mountain continues to demonstrate his talents through his introspective, relatable lyricism and unique musicality. 

Priding himself on producing music that is inspired by his own experiences, this seemingly lends a hand to the range of different styles and genres that make appearances throughout his releases. As an artist, music has always been therapeutic for Mountain; a way to exorcise his emotions and demons; to create something beautiful from something dark; as there are no shadows without light.
